Portage Hill Gallery features the work of over 200 juried artists
Paintings include pastels, oils, encaustics, acrylics, collages and watercolors
Jewelry includes fabricated sterling and brass set with stones, cast bronze and sterling, beaded pieces, and jewelry made from Swedish Horseshoe nails.
Sculptural work includes original sculpted figural work done in wood and ceramic sculpture.
Ceramics includes functional thrown pieces, one of-a-kind sculptural works, and hand-built pieces. Many different glazing techniques are included, such as underglazed hand painted works, Raku fired, Crystal glazed pieces and both cone 6 and high fired cone 9 glazed work.
Wood pieces include assembled wooden sculptures and furniture and turned pieces.
Quilted work is represented with quilted paper, silk and metal foil wall hangings.
The Dowlings are always looking for new unique work to bring to their clients. The focus is primarily regional (within 200 miles of the gallery), but Audrey will consider work from farther away if it is not represented regionally.
